Personal Health Budgets
- Personal Health Budgets – these are one way to give people with long term health conditions and disabilities more choice and control over the money spent on meeting their health and wellbeing needs. A personal health budget may be used for a range of things and could include therapies, personal care, equipment, attendance at community groups. There some restrictions on how they are used and you need to have been assessed as having a long term health condition or disability.
Direct Payments – are local health and social care trust payments for people who have been assessed as needing help from Social Services and who would like to arrange and pay for their own care and support services instead of receiving them directly from the local trust. They are designed to give you more flexibility over how your care and support is arranged and provided. For further information please contact us.
